As part of Mental Health Week, May 5-11, Trent University is highlighting the range of mental health resources and services for students, staff, and faculty that help foster a supportive and resilient community.
In an interview with PTBO Today, director of the Student Wellness Centre, Julie Middleton shared information about the free and confidential support year-round, including counselling and health services, academic accommodations and supports for students with disabilities, and peer support programs for students; as well as education and staff training programs to enhance mental health awareness.
This comprehensive approach reflects Trent's dedication to student well-being, helping earn the university the distinction of being ranked #1 in Ontario for Services in the 2025 Maclean’s University Rankings.
