April 2 Classes and Full Campus Services Resume in Peterborough
Durham Campus classes and operations continuing
Classes and full operations at Trent’s Symons Campus and Traill College in Peterborough will resume on Wednesday, April 2. Durham campus operations and classes are continuing. Peterborough Transit has resumed service, but some routes may be running on modified schedules. Stay up-to-date by following @ptbo_transit on X or by checking Peterborough Transit Service Alerts on Facebook.
As the City of Peterborough remains under a declared state of emergency, some members of the Trent community may still be facing storm-related disruptions such as power outages, transportation issues, or property damage. Flexibility continues to be encouraged.
Employees should speak with their manager, supervisor, or department chair to determine appropriate work arrangements based on individual circumstances.
Faculty and instructors have been asked to be flexible with students and, where needed, may choose to adjust how classes are delivered or how assessments are completed. Students should check Blackboard for updates on classes and assignments and reach out directly to instructors if unable to complete assignments due to storm-related circumstances.
With a full return to campus, all members of our community are asked to use caution. While significant progress has been made clearing debris, wooded and forested areas on and around campus should be avoided. Please keep to cleared roadways and pathways. The Nature Areas remain closed.
