Welcome to Student Accessibility Services (SAS) at Trent University - we're glad that you're here!
Students with disabilities who require academic accommodation support must first obtain documentation, complete the Pre-Intake Questionnaire, and then meet with an Accessibility Advisor in order to develop an accommodation plan. The intake session with your Advisor will take one hour.
Be sure to check out our 'How to Register with SAS' page for what is needed to formally register with our office.
The final day to register with SAS for 2025 winter term accommodation is Friday, March 14th. Students who reach out to SAS after this date are invited to complete the intake process for the following term. Accommodation for final exams may only occur in very exceptional circumstances.
If you are experiencing challenges in your courses and require support after March 14th, we suggest exploring academic support through Academic Advising (incomplete standing, late withdrawal petitions, etc) and the Academic Skills Centre (helpful academic strategies).
If you will be new to Trent this September, you are welcome to begin your SAS registration any time after May 1st. We look forward to meeting you!
